Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8 oz) package of crescent roll dough
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the fresh cranberries and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat and cook until the cranberries burst, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut it into squares.
- Place a dollop of cream cheese mixture and a spoonful of the cranberry sauce in the center of each square.
- Roll up each square to encapsulate the filling and arrange them on a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
