Description

Tender, succulent ribs coated with a flavorful spice rub and bathed in a sweet barbecue sauce, perfect for weekend gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back ribs (membrane removed)
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons coarse salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar BBQ sauce
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh parsley for garnish, if desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F.
  2. Lay your ribs on a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  3. Mix together your dry rub ingredients and rub it onto both sides of your ribs.
  4. Wrap up the ribs tightly and place them on a large baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the oven for 180 minutes (3 hours).
  6. Remove from the oven and unwrap the ribs.
  7. Mix together your BBQ sauce and honey, then brush it on the ribs.
  8. Place the ribs back in the oven on the lowest rack and broil for 3-5 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and brush with more BBQ sauce.
  10. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding smoked paprika or a dash of cayenne pepper. If you prefer a less sweet sauce, mix in apple cider vinegar.
