Description

Learn how to make delicious Epic Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken Medallions with this easy recipe. Perfect for a savory and satisfying meal!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
  • 2 teaspoon (10 ml) garlic granules
  • 3/4 teaspoon (4 ml) onion granules
  • 3/4 teaspoon (4 ml) Hungarian paprika
  • 1 pound (454 g) skinless, boneless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) oil, divided
  • 3 tablespoon (45 ml) butter, divided
  • 7 cloves minced garlic, or to taste
  • 3 tablespoon (45 ml) heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Combine the salt, garlic granules, onion granules, and paprika in a small mixing bowl. Coat the chicken pieces with 1 teaspoon of oil and the spice blend; set aside.
  2. In a heavy skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the remaining 2 teaspoons of oil. Cook the chicken in the skillet, stirring frequently, until no longer pink inside, about 7 to 8 minutes.
  3. Push the chicken to one side of the skillet. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it releases its aroma, roughly 30 seconds. Pour in the cream. Return the chicken to the center of the skillet and mix it into the sauce to ensure it’s well-coated.

Notes

  • Use freshly minced garlic for a more intense flavor.
  • Substitute Hungarian paprika with smoked paprika for a smoky taste.
  • Opt for half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
