Ingredients
- 1 can (560 ml) Lychee
- 1 package Red Gelatin (Jell-O)
- 1 package Blueberries
- 15-20 (113-142 g) Mini Plastic Dessert Cups
Instructions
- Follow the package directions to prepare the gelatin, and then allow it to cool completely. Ensure it is fully cooled to avoid melting the plastic cups.
- Drain the lychees from the can (you can keep the syrup for beverages or other sweets if desired) and gently dry them with a paper towel.
- Place one blueberry inside each lychee, ensuring the blueberry is facing upwards.
- When the gelatin has cooled, pour it into each mini dessert cup until they are about three-quarters full.
- You have the option to immediately place the lychee-blueberry combinations into the cups (they might tip over or not stay at the top, so you may need to adjust them or reposition them once the gelatin has firmed up a bit) or wait an hour or two until the gelatin has thickened slightly before adding them.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow them to set completely, then serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Pat dry the lychees to prevent excess liquid from diluting the gelatin mixture.
- Ensure the gelatin is fully cooled before pouring into the cups to avoid damaging the containers.
- Adjust the placement of the lychee-blueberry combinations in the cups as necessary before the gelatin sets.
