Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups warm milk (400 ml)
- 1 Tbsp yeast (15 g)
- 1/3 cup sugar (67 g)
- 2 tbsp sour cream (30 ml)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (113 g)
- 4 cups all-purpose flour (480 g)
- 1 tsp baking powder (5 g)
- 1 cup vegetable oil, softened (226 g)
- 1 cup brown sugar (220 g)
- 2 tbsp cinnamon (30 ml)
- 1/2 block of tofu cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (30 ml)
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract (15 ml)
- 3 tbsp fruit juice (45 ml)
- 2 cups powdered sugar (240 g)
Instructions
- Combine the warm milk, yeast, sour cream, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes.
- Incorporate half a cup of vegetable oil and the all-purpose flour into the mixture, stirring until fully blended.
- Wrap the bowl with plastic film and let it sit for an hour.
- After the dough has rested, place it on a floured surface and work it with the remaining flour and baking powder for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small portions and fill them with the softened tofu cream cheese.
- Mix together softened vegetable oil, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the coating.
- Arrange the filled dough pieces on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the dough balls and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
- While baking, create the glaze by blending the tofu cream cheese, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, fruit juice, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Once the baked goods are ready, top them with the prepared icing. Enjoy your treat!
