Description

A cozy and effortless recipe for Swedish meatballs cooked in a crockpot, served in a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 14.5 oz beef broth
  • 2 tbsp A1 Steak Sauce
  • 1 pkg onion soup mix
  • 28 oz frozen meatballs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 bag egg noodles (prepared according to package directions)
  • 1 tsp parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In your crockpot, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, A1 Steak Sauce, and onion soup mix.
  2. Next, add the frozen meatballs to the crockpot and stir until they are well-coated with the sauce.
  3. Cover and let the meatballs simmer on low for about 3-4 hours.
  4. At the end of cooking, stir a cup of sour cream into the crockpot.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley or dried parsley flakes, if desired.
  6. Serve over prepared egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, cook a little longer. Optional spices like garlic powder can enhance the flavor.
