A healthy, creamy dessert blending ripe avocados with unsweetened cocoa powder for a guilt-free indulgence.
Ingredients
- 2 large or 3 medium ripe avocados
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ to ½ cup sweetener of choice (maple syrup, honey, agave, or sugar-free alternatives)
- ¼ cup dairy or non-dairy milk (more if needed for consistency)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- Optional: Chocolate chips for topping
Instructions
- Cut open the ripe avocados, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a food processor.
- Add the cocoa powder to the mix.
- Pour in your selected sweetener (starting with ¼ cup).
- Measure in the milk and add more if necessary for desired consistency.
- Add the vanilla extract and salt.
- Blend all ingredients on high speed until silky and smooth, scraping sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
- Transfer pudding into serving bowls and optionally sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Notes
For a richer pudding, incorporate more avocado or use full-fat coconut milk. Chill pudding for at least 30 minutes before serving for improved flavor.
