A quick and satisfying stir-fried dish combining tender beef and vibrant broccoli in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound beef, sliced thinly
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, then remove it from the pan.
- In the same pan, add garlic and ginger and stir-fry for a minute.
- Add broccoli and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Return the beef to the pan, add oyster sauce and beef broth, and stir well.
- Cook until the sauce thickens and everything is well combined. Serve hot.
Notes
For added heat, include a pinch of red pepper flakes. Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
