Description

A quick and satisfying stir-fried dish combining tender beef and vibrant broccoli in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef, sliced thinly
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, then remove it from the pan.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger and stir-fry for a minute.
  5. Add broccoli and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return the beef to the pan, add oyster sauce and beef broth, and stir well.
  7. Cook until the sauce thickens and everything is well combined. Serve hot.

Notes

For added heat, include a pinch of red pepper flakes. Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
