Description

A simple and delightful banana bread recipe that transforms overripe bananas into a warm, comforting loaf.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add baking soda and salt; mix well.
  5. Pour in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract; stir until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in all-purpose flour until no streaks remain.
  7. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
