Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 4 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce (optional)
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups bok choy or spinach, chopped
- 12 frozen dumplings (vegetable or chicken)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- Black pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes, to taste
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in vegetable broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and optional chili garlic sauce; bring to a gentle boil.
- Add sliced mushrooms and let them simmer until tender.
- Add bok choy or spinach and simmer briefly until wilted.
- Gently add frozen dumplings and simmer until cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For a heartier meal, you can add noodles instead of dumplings. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences.
