Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
- 1 cup chopped broccoli (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
- Green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place chicken in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
- Add sliced bell pepper and broccoli if using.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken with a fork and mix it with the sauce.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles and garnish with green onions if desired.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last hour of cooking to allow moisture to evaporate.
