Description

Delightful dairy-free chocolate chip cookies bursting with flavor and a unique texture from almond and oat flours.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together almond flour, oat flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a cohesive dough forms.
  5. Fold in the dairy-free chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
