Description

A refreshing Cucumber and Dill Havarti Sandwich with crispy cucumbers and creamy dill Havarti cheese, perfect for lunch or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 4 ounces dill Havarti cheese
  • 2 slices whole grain or sourdough bread
  • Butter or cream cheese (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill (optional)


Instructions

  1. Wash and thinly slice the cucumber.
  2. If using, spread a thin layer of butter or cream cheese on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer the sliced cucumber evenly on top of one slice of bread.
  4. Add slices of dill Havarti cheese on top of the cucumbers.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh dill if desired.
  6. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side down if applicable.
  7. Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters and serve immediately.

Notes

Experiment with different types of bread and add other toppings like bell peppers or radishes for extra flavor.
