Description
A refreshing Cucumber and Dill Havarti Sandwich with crispy cucumbers and creamy dill Havarti cheese, perfect for lunch or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 medium cucumber
- 4 ounces dill Havarti cheese
- 2 slices whole grain or sourdough bread
- Butter or cream cheese (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh dill (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and thinly slice the cucumber.
- If using, spread a thin layer of butter or cream cheese on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the sliced cucumber evenly on top of one slice of bread.
- Add slices of dill Havarti cheese on top of the cucumbers.
- Season with salt, pepper, and fresh dill if desired.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side down if applicable.
- Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters and serve immediately.
Notes
Experiment with different types of bread and add other toppings like bell peppers or radishes for extra flavor.
