Ingredients
- 4 cube steaks
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the sliced onions in the bottom of the Crockpot.
- Season the cube steaks with salt and pepper and place them on top of the onions.
- In a bowl, mix together the beef broth and onion soup mix. Pour this mixture over the cube steaks.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the steak is tender.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides.
Notes
For thinner steaks, reduce cooking time to 4-5 hours. Adding broth midway can keep the meat moist. Consider adding carrots or potatoes for extras.
