Description

A simple and hearty crockpot beef stew, perfect for family gatherings on chilly days. This dish combines tender beef, vibrant vegetables, and rich broth for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 lb beef stew meat
  • 1/4 c flour
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 12 oz bag of baby carrots
  • 1.5 lb gold baby potatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 onion soup mix packet
  • 1 beef stew mix packet
  • 2 c beef broth
  • 1/2 stick butter


Instructions

  1. Shake the beef stew meat, salt, pepper, and flour together in a large zip bag until well combined.
  2. Add the seasoned beef to the crockpot.
  3. Toss in the baby carrots and chopped gold baby potatoes.
  4. Sprinkle the onion powder, minced garlic, onion soup mix packet, and beef stew mix packet over the ingredients in the crockpot.
  5. Pour in the beef broth, mixing thoroughly to ensure all ingredients combine well.
  6. Slice the butter and place it on top of the mixture.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours or on low for 8 hours.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider searing the beef before adding it to the crockpot. Feel free to add or substitute vegetables according to your preferences.
