Ingredients
- 3-4 pounds beef chuck roast
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 4 potatoes, chopped
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: flour for gravy
Instructions
- Place the beef roast in the crock pot.
- Add the chopped carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic around the roast.
- Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the top.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes or until the meat is tender.
- For gravy, remove the roast and veggies, then whisk in flour into the remaining liquid on the stovetop until thickened. Serve hot.
