Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 2 cups green beans (fresh or frozen)
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh herbs like thyme or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- In the crock pot, add the browned ground beef, onion, carrots, potatoes, green beans, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until vegetables are tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
