Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups green beans (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs like thyme or parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. In the crock pot, add the browned ground beef, onion, carrots, potatoes, green beans, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until vegetables are tender.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
