Description

A delightful and crunchy snack made from roasted chickpeas, versatile for salads or standalone munching.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. After rinsing, dry the chickpeas thoroughly using a kitchen towel or paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, salt, and your chosen spices until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy as a snack or a salad topping!
