Description

Delicious crispy chocolate chip cookies with a crunchy exterior and soft, gooey center filled with rich chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients from the small bowl.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  7. Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges turn a golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to wire racks to cool completely.
