Delightful crispy apple fries made effortlessly in an air fryer, perfect for a fun snack or family gathering.
Ingredients
- 2 large firm apples (like Fuji or Honeycrisp)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- A small pinch of salt
- A little oil spray
Instructions
- Wash the apples and cut them into fry shapes. No need to peel them or make them look perfect.
- Mix the sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, and salt in a bowl until blended.
- Toss the apples in that coating until they’re all covered.
- Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Take them out when golden brown and enjoy them hot.
Notes
For added flavor, consider tossing in ground cinnamon sugar while still warm or garnishing with melted caramel.
