Discover a spooky twist on a classic meatloaf recipe with our Creepy Feetloaf Halloween Meatloaf Recipe. Learn how to create a deliciously eerie dish for your Halloween festivities!

Ingredients

  • – 2 lbs (900 g) Ground Beef
  • – 2 Large Eggs
  • – 2 Cups (240 g) Panko Crumbs
  • – 1 pkt Beef Broth Mix
  • – 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Pepper, Freshly Cracked
  • – 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Dry Mustard
  • – 1 tsp (5 ml) Onion Powder
  • – 1 Medium Yellow Onion
  • – 1 Cup (240 ml) Tomato Ketchup

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, beef broth mix, cracked pepper, dry mustard, and onion powder with a whisk.
  3. Add the ground beef and panko crumbs to the bowl, mixing gently until just combined.
  4. Separate the mixture into two equal portions and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Shape each portion into the form of a foot, as shown in the images above.
  6. Take a thick slice of onion and cut out shapes resembling toenails for each toe.
  7. Cut two small onion rings and place them on the top part of the foot to resemble a stump.
  8. Drizzle a small amount of ketchup over each onion ring, spreading it slightly to allow some to drip down the sides.
  9. Place in the oven and cook for 40-50 minutes, or until the center is fully cooked.
  10. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  11. My family enjoys it with ketchup or stewed tomatoes, while I prefer it with brown gravy.

Notes

  • Consider adding finely diced yellow onion for a juicier meatloaf.
  • Experiment with garlic powder or Worcestershire sauce for personalized flavor.
  • For a crispy crust, brush the meatloaf with extra ketchup halfway through baking.
