Description

A delightful combination of creamy sauce and tender chicken breasts, enhanced with zesty lemon flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat and add the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it.
  7. Simmer for another 5 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Generous seasoning enhances flavor. Let the sauce simmer longer for a thicker texture; for an extra flavor kick, consider adding minced garlic.
