Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat and add the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it.
- Simmer for another 5 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
