Description

A delightful canape featuring creamy garlic, ripe avocado, and crunchy French baguette slices, perfect for gatherings or quiet moments at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 large avocado (ripe)
  • 1 large clove of garlic (crushed)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 French baguette (sliced into 1/4″ slices)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French baguette into 1/4″ pieces.
  3. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake the baguette slices for 10-12 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  5. While the baguette toasts, scoop the ripe avocado into a bowl.
  6. Add the crushed garlic and mayonnaise to the bowl with the avocado.
  7. Mash the ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
  8. Season with black pepper to taste.
  9. Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven.
  10. Spread the creamy garlic avocado mixture generously onto each slice of baguette.
  11. Serve immediately and enjoy!
