A rich and creamy chicken fettuccine Alfredo that transforms an ordinary evening into something special, perfect for family meals or date nights.
Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken slices with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and no longer pink, about 6-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet and mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor. Reserve pasta water to adjust the sauce’s consistency if needed.
