Description

A comforting and flavorful dish combining tender chicken, creamy sauce, and aromatic rice, all infused with bold Cajun spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup rice (white or jasmine)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
  2. In a skillet, cook the chicken over medium heat until fully cooked and browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add rice and toast for a minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and simmer until the rice is tender.
  5. Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, mixing until creamy.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken and layer it over the rice.
  7. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Adjust the level of Cajun seasoning based on your spice preference. Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or swap chicken for shrimp or tofu for variations.
