Description

A rich and creamy side dish featuring Brussels sprouts enveloped in a savory sauce with crispy bacon, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the bacon. Cook until crispy, then remove the bacon and set aside.
  3. Add the Brussels sprouts and garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the sprouts are tender.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked bacon back to the mixture, stirring to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Serve warm as a side dish.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients and ensure not to overcook the Brussels sprouts to maintain their vibrant color and texture.
