Delicious bites that meld sweet and savory flavors, perfect for holiday celebrations or casual get-togethers.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • Optional: chopped pecans or orange zest for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease or line a mini muffin tin.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half.
  5. Press each piece of dough into the muffin cups to create a little shell.
  6. Spoon in one teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture, followed by a teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  7. If desired, top with chopped pecans or orange zest.
  8. Bake for 11-13 minutes, watching for golden color to develop.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing.
