Delightful and easy-to-make bites using sweetened condensed milk that capture the essence of home baking.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar for sprinkling
- Optional: up to 2 teaspoons of vanilla or almond extract
Instructions
- Whip the softened butter in a bowl for around three minutes, until fluffy.
- Gradually pour in the sweetened condensed milk while continuing to beat for two more minutes until smooth.
- If desired, add flavor extracts.
- Scrape down the edges of the mixing bowl and beat for another one to two minutes.
- Toss in the flour and baking powder, then mix until combined.
- Use a cookie scoop to drop dough balls onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them two inches apart.
- Preheat your oven to 320°F (160°C) and bake for about 12 minutes.
- Let cool on the tray for five minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- While warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar and allow to cool completely.
