Description

Delicious and heartfelt classic Italian meatballs, perfect for any meal, from pasta dishes to appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  4. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook the meatballs in batches, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
  7. Serve with pasta, in a sub, or enjoy as an appetizer.

Notes

Using a small cookie scoop helps achieve uniform size. Do not overcrowd the skillet to ensure even cooking.
