Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a small bowl, soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the meatballs in batches, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
- Serve with pasta, in a sub, or enjoy as an appetizer.
Notes
Using a small cookie scoop helps achieve uniform size. Do not overcrowd the skillet to ensure even cooking.
