Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated cheese for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Add elbow macaroni, reduce heat, and simmer for about 15 minutes or until macaroni is cooked.
- Serve hot, topped with grated cheese if desired.
