Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15 ml)
- 5 cup chopped onion (120 g)
- 5 cup chopped celery (60 g)
- 4 (430 ml) cans chicken broth
- 1 (430 ml) can vegetable broth
- 5 pound chopped cooked beef breast (225 g)
- 5 cups egg noodles (130 g)
- 1 cup sliced carrots (130 g)
- 5 teaspoon (3 ml) dried basil
- 5 teaspoon (3 ml) dried oregano
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Introduce the onion and celery, cooking until they are just soft, approximately 5 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth, vegetable broth, beef, egg noodles, and carrots. Add the basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together, then bring to a rolling boil.
- Lower the heat and let the mixture gently simmer for 20 minutes.
