Description

A vibrant citrus marinade elevating skirt steak with flavors of orange, lime, garlic, and soy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 pound skirt steak

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place skirt steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it’s fully covered.
  3. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove skirt steak from marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
  6. Grill steak for 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
  7. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain.
  8. Serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Marinating overnight enhances flavor and tenderness. Always let the steak rest after grilling.
