Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in one bowl.
  3. Combine the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla in another bowl and whisk.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined.
  5. Spoon one tablespoon of the batter into each muffin cup.
  6. Add a small spoonful of the cinnamon mixture to each cup.
  7. Top with more batter until three-quarters full, swirling gently to marble.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Whisk together the glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm muffins.
