Description

A festive holiday favorite, these cranberry meatballs combine savory ground beef with a tangy cranberry sauce, making them perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, BBQ sauce, and soy sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs, ensuring they’re well coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and have reached an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  7. Serve warm as an appetizer or party dish.

Notes

For added flavor, consider browning the meatballs in a skillet for a few minutes before baking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
