Description
Delightful chocolate-covered strawberry clusters made with creamy Greek yogurt, perfect for a refreshing treat.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Add the chopped strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract to a large bowl.
- Combine the ingredients thoroughly until well-blended.
- Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture, placing dollops onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, forming approximately 10 clusters.
- Transfer the baking sheet with the yogurt clusters to the freezer.
- Freeze the clusters until completely solid, about 1-2 hours.
- Once frozen, melt the chocolate by combining the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15 or 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
- Dip each frozen yogurt cluster into the melted chocolate using a spoon for even coating.
- Place each chocolate-coated cluster back on the parchment-lined sheet. Adding a sprinkle of sea salt is optional but highly recommended.
- Return the clusters to the freezer for a few minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
Notes
Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor. You can also experiment with different types of yogurt and chocolate.
