Description

Delicious fudgy brownies topped with fresh strawberries and a glossy chocolate ganache, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sugar together until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. While the brownies are baking, prepare the chocolate ganache. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it’s just about to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.
  8. Once the brownies are done, let them cool completely. Top with halved strawberries and drizzle with chocolate ganache before serving.

Notes

For the best results, use high-quality chocolate chips and ensure butter is softened but not melted.
