Delicious fudgy brownies topped with fresh strawberries and a glossy chocolate ganache, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sugar together until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- While the brownies are baking, prepare the chocolate ganache. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it’s just about to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.
- Once the brownies are done, let them cool completely. Top with halved strawberries and drizzle with chocolate ganache before serving.
Notes
For the best results, use high-quality chocolate chips and ensure butter is softened but not melted.
