Description

Delicious chocolate chip cookies with crispy edges and soft centers, perfect for any sweet tooth.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a larger bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
  5. Gradually mix in the flour mixture. Then, fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. Use parchment paper on baking sheets for easy removal.
