Delicious chocolate chip cookies with crispy edges and soft centers, perfect for any sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a larger bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture. Then, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. Use parchment paper on baking sheets for easy removal.
