A delightful and moist chocolate chip banana bread made with ripe bananas, perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a snack.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth and stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix in the flour until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, consider adding cinnamon or nutmeg, or fold in some chopped nuts.
