Description

A moist and rich chocolate banana bread that combines the delightful flavors of ripe bananas and cocoa powder, perfect for family gatherings or a cozy snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
  6. Add the flour and cocoa powder, folding gently until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
