Description

A delightful stir fry that combines tender beef sirloin with sweet onions and aromatic spices, perfect for any weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the onions, garlic, and ginger, and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the onions are just tender.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and stir to combine.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Consider marinating the beef in soy sauce and ginger for extra flavor. Experiment with adding other vegetables for variety.
