Description

A cozy, hearty casserole filled with tender chicken, rich sauce, and flaky biscuits, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9″x13″ casserole dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cooked, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk.
  3. Add the cheddar cheese, frozen mixed vegetables, dried parsley, minced onion, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  4. Gently fold in the refrigerated biscuits.
  5. Pour the chicken mixture into the greased casserole dish and spread the biscuits evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing in garlic powder or sautéed carrots. Using freshly shredded cheese instead of pre-packaged will enhance the melting quality.
