Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 small onion, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9″x13″ casserole dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cooked, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk.
- Add the cheddar cheese, frozen mixed vegetables, dried parsley, minced onion, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Gently fold in the refrigerated biscuits.
- Pour the chicken mixture into the greased casserole dish and spread the biscuits evenly over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in garlic powder or sautéed carrots. Using freshly shredded cheese instead of pre-packaged will enhance the melting quality.
