Description

Transform your day with warm and gooey chocolate chip cookies that bring comfort and joy to every bite.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden; let cool on wire racks before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing. Consider a pinch of sea salt for flavor depth. Watch baking closely; remove cookies when edges are golden.
