Description

Delightful bites of savory meat and gooey cheese encased in flaky pastry, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or meat of choice
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, shredded cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into bite-sized meatballs.
  4. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares large enough to wrap around each meatball.
  5. Place a meatball in the center of each pastry square and fold the corners over, sealing well.
  6. Place the wrapped meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with a beaten egg for an egg wash.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve warm.
