Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or meat of choice
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, shredded cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into bite-sized meatballs.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares large enough to wrap around each meatball.
- Place a meatball in the center of each pastry square and fold the corners over, sealing well.
- Place the wrapped meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with a beaten egg for an egg wash.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm.
