Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups pasta (such as shells or elbow macaroni)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 jar (about 24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add ground beef. Cook until browned.
- Add the marinara sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the pasta. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer until the pasta is cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cottage cheese with half the mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Remove the skillet from heat, then stir in the cheese mixture until melted and well combined.
