Description

A comforting and hearty lasagna combining ground beef, pasta, and a blend of cheeses for a delightful family meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups pasta (such as shells or elbow macaroni)
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 jar (about 24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add ground beef. Cook until browned.
  2. Add the marinara sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the pasta. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer until the pasta is cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the cottage cheese with half the mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat, then stir in the cheese mixture until melted and well combined.
  6. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top and let it melt before serving. Enjoy your delicious Cheesy Hamburger Helper Lasagna!

Notes

For a personalized touch, consider adding sautéed veggies like bell peppers or spinach, or spices for added flavor.
