Description

Discover how to make a mouthwatering Cheeseburger Meatloaf that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in this easy-to-follow recipe. Your taste buds will thank you!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (907 g) ground beef
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) minced onion
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons (8 ml) salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons (8 ml) ground black pepper
  • 3 cups (360 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to a temperature of 350°F (175°C) to warm up.
  2. In a big mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the beef, bread crumbs, onion, eggs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Flatten the meat blend into a rectangle measuring 14×18 inches on a sheet of wax paper.
  4. Sprinkle the cheese evenly on top, ensuring you leave a border of 3/4 inch around the sides.
  5. Roll the meat up like a jelly roll to cover the cheese and create a spiral loaf.
  6. Pinch the ends of the loaf to make sure the cheese is sealed inside.
  7. Position the rolled meatloaf in a baking dish that is 10×15 inches in size.
  8. Cook it in the warmed oven for roughly 1 hour until done.
  9. Use an instant-read thermometer to check that the inside temperature of the loaf is at least 160°F (70°C).

Notes

  • Consider enhancing the flavor by incorporating minced garlic or Worcestershire sauce into the meat mixture.
  • To maintain a tender texture, be cautious not to overmix the ingredients.
  • Experiment with various cheeses like cheddar or provolone to create a unique taste profile.
