Description

A comforting one-pan dish featuring ground beef, macaroni, and a creamy cheese sauce that brings families together.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz ground beef (85% lean, 15% fat)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic (or 2 cloves of garlic, minced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon no salt seasoning salt
  • 4 cups beef broth (or chicken broth)
  • 16 ounces elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese (or your favorite kind)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, season the ground beef with garlic and seasoning salt. Brown the ground beef until cooked through, draining excess grease.
  2. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Add the uncooked macaroni, stirring it into the beef mixture. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta softens.
  4. Once the macaroni is tender, add the milk and stir to combine. Finally, incorporate the cheese, stirring until melted.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a twist, add vegetables like diced bell peppers or use different cheeses such as cheddar or mozzarella.
