Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup macaroni pasta
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp mustard (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is thoroughly cooked. Drain the excess fat.
  2. Add the macaroni, beef broth, and diced tomatoes (if using) to the pot.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat. Let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta reaches an al dente texture.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the shredded cheese, garlic powder, and mustard (if desired).
  5. Mix until the cheese melts and everything is well combined.
  6. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
