Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup macaroni pasta
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (optional)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp mustard (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is thoroughly cooked. Drain the excess fat.
- Add the macaroni, beef broth, and diced tomatoes (if using) to the pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat. Let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta reaches an al dente texture.
- Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the shredded cheese, garlic powder, and mustard (if desired).
- Mix until the cheese melts and everything is well combined.
- Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
