Description

A delightful treat of crunchy popcorn coated in rich, buttery caramel, perfect for sharing during movie nights and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup almonds (for added crunch and flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Pop the popcorn kernels and place them in a large bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter over medium heat. Stir until it comes to a boil.
  3. Continue boiling for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and baking soda.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and mix well.
  6. Add almonds and mix again.
  7. Spread onto a greased baking sheet and let cool.
  8. Break into pieces and enjoy.
