A delightful dessert featuring crisp apple slices drizzled with warm caramel and white chocolate, topped with crunchy pretzels and toffee pieces.
Ingredients
- 2-3 Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
- 2-3 Gala apples, cored and sliced
- 4 oz. white chocolate
- 4 Tbsp. salted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 6 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 heath bar, broken into pieces
- 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
Instructions
- Crush pretzels and chop the heath bar into small pieces. Place them in small bowls for easy access.
- Wash, core, and slice the apples, then add them to a large bowl. Cover with lemon juice, water, or Sprite to prevent browning.
- Prepare the caramel sauce by melting butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, and sweetened condensed milk. Whisk until bubbly. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract, allowing it to cool slightly.
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted.
- Drain the apples and pat them dry. Arrange the apple slices on a large serving plate.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce and melted white chocolate over the apple slices. Sprinkle the crushed pretzels and heath bar pieces on top.
- Serve with extra toppings on the counter for personalization.
