Description

Deliciously soft and chewy cookies with a cake-like texture, filled with chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Mix in the cake mix until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until incorporated.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies. Use a cookie scoop for even portioning.
